Job Summary
Stacks and aligns rotor and stator laminations for assembly of cores. Responsible for measuring stack size and ensuring compliance with specifications by adding or removing laminations. Must perform GMAW tack welding that meets certification requirements. Required to execute daily/weekly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks accurately. Use of hand and power tools, with the expectation of becoming familiar with materials and achieving proficiency in work quality and welding within 6,000 hours of training. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor within the same grade.
