Job Summary
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment, assemble parts and components according to specifications, and perform general labor tasks as needed. Ensure attention to detail and quality in all tasks while following safety protocols and procedures. Work various swing shifts as required, maintaining a positive work ethic and ability to work well within a team. This role supports Exceleron Mfg.'s production of high-quality parts for material handling equipment in Alpena, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to maintain a positive and drama-free work environment
- Trainable and eager to learn
- Good attendance record
- Positive work ethic and attitude
- Ability to work well within a team
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch (preferred)
- Desire to work with your hands
- Manufacturing experience (preferred but not required)
- Understanding of basic assembly and machining processes
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
