Job Summary
General Manager in Training at Zaxby’s leading restaurant operations and development efforts. The program focuses on restaurant operations, leadership development, and financial management, with mentorship to prepare the candidate to run a Zaxby’s restaurant. Responsibilities during training include ensuring food quality, service, cleanliness, and speed of service; assisting with hiring, onboarding, and staff development; scheduling, staffing, and inventory management; reviewing performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement; and maintaining a strong team culture and guest experience. Upon successful completion of training, the role transitions to leading all aspects of restaurant operations, driving sales growth and financial performance, and upholding brand, health, and safety standards. Desired attributes include 1–3+ years of restaurant management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, the desire to grow into a General Manager role, the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, and a strong work ethic and high standards.
