Job Summary
General Manager oversees restaurant operations for WP Foods/Zaxby’s in Covington, TN. Responsible for all financial results, customer service/satisfaction, and store culture; supervises HR activities including recruitment, hiring, training, employee retention, performance evaluations, and termination; leads a team of managers and about 50 crew members; ensures health, safety, and food quality procedures; maintains inventory and par levels; builds relationships with suppliers and the local community; assists District Manager or Marketing with local marketing strategy; conducts daily operational decision-making to meet performance targets; trains employees in customer service, food preparation, and safety; manages administrative duties including payroll, scheduling, deposits, and record-keeping; leverages Micros POS and reports to optimize financial targets; ensures timely maintenance and safety compliance; fosters a positive work environment aligned with Zaxby’s mission and values; capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting and communicating effectively with staff and leadership.
