Job Summary
Develop a strong staff by recruiting, interviewing, and training candidates while ensuring compliance with safety, food handling, and brand standards. Manage daily operations by conducting quality and food safety audits, overseeing cash handling procedures, and maintaining accurate inventory and supply orders. Achieve sales and Gross Operating Profit (GOP) budgets through effective scheduling, implementing suggestive sales techniques, and driving customer traffic via marketing initiatives. Report critical situations, equipment maintenance needs, and performance discrepancies to Area Manager leadership. Ensure a clean, safe, and energy-efficient environment while promoting Whataburger's Family Value Proposition.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to read (Orders on tickets, Menu Board, receipts, etc.)
- Ensures compliance with all State and Local health department required food handling certifications for entire staff.
