Job Summary
Lead the General Manager/Operating Partner role by developing staff to meet sales, production, and service needs while ensuring recruiting, budgeting, and marketing goals are achieved. Protect and promote the Whataburger brand, conduct daily operational audits including Orange Guidebook and NSF checklists, and manage payroll, cash handling, and inventory to achieve budgeted Gross Operating Profit. Oversee staff development through pre-screening interviews, training sessions, and performance reviews, while maintaining a clean, safe, and energy-efficient environment. Report critical situations, equipment maintenance needs, and policy violations to Area Management, and utilize customer feedback to drive immediate service improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to read (Orders on tickets, Menu Board, receipts, etc.)
- Ensures compliance with all State and Local health department required food handling certifications for entire staff.
