Job Summary
General Manager at Wendy's leads store operations to achieve sales goals and financial targets while delivering exceptional guest service. Responsible for training and directing team members, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, maintaining a clean and safe restaurant, managing budgeting and labor control, driving continual sales growth through effective operations, and maintaining inventory and equipment. Requires strong interpersonal communication, people development, and proficiency in labor cost reporting and P&L statements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and proof of valid insurance
- Ability to work 50-55 hours per week including weekends
- Knowledge of restaurant policies and procedures
- Knowledge of labor cost reporting, profit and loss statements, operating statements, and other business-related reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to implement policies and procedures
- Ability to develop employees through training and counseling
- Knowledge of recruiting and interviewing potential team members
- Conflict resolution
- Create and maintain a positive work environment
