Job Summary
Drive P&L ownership for WCM NL's Benelux operations, managing full commercial growth targets, budget forecasting, and administrative compliance. Lead A&R strategy to source, sign, and develop songwriters across new genres, while analyzing market trends to inform culturally relevant creative and commercial approaches. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between A&R, Sync, Production Music, and Administration teams, serving as the principal external face to nurture relationships with songwriters, managers, and key industry partners. Mentor a senior leadership team and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with global Warner Music strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of senior-level experience in Publishing
- At least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing and mentoring a team
- Exceptional strategic and strong commercial mindset
- Understanding of the music industry's revenue streams and business models
- Proven ability to drive revenue and manage large budgets effectively
- Outstanding leadership and relationship management skills
- Ability to lead, negotiate, and close contracts with key external partners
- Full ownership of the WCM NL P&L
- Ability to demonstrate unwavering commitment to achieving ambitious commercial growth targets to budget
- Ability to provide accurate forecasting
- Ability to oversee all administrative functions
- High standards of compliance and efficiency
- Commitment to WCM's local and global strategies
- Ability to ensure the long-term health and stability of the business
- Effectiveness of the Administration team
- Deep local relationships with the local collection society
- Ability to act as the key facilitator
- Ability to foster seamless collaboration between the A&R, Sync, Production Music, and Administration teams
- Ability to serve as the principal external face of WCM NL
- Ability to build and nurture powerful, collaborative relationships with songwriters, managers, key partners (e.g., streaming services, production houses) and the Global Leadership team at WCM
- Ability to work with Finance and the local WMG teams for best practices and share knowledge
- Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire the team
