Job Summary
Lead the Panera bakery-cafe as General Manager, owning all aspects of operations and team leadership. Responsibilities include staffing/n staffing needs, scheduling, people development, performance management, training, and succession planning; hire/onboard/train new team members; drive guest satisfaction and ensure quality and operational standards are met; develop managers on people processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors; execute company strategies and initiatives; maintain a safe, compliant, and cost-conscious work environment; build relationships to foster long-term guest loyalty; uphold policies and regulatory compliance while managing costs and inventory. Requires 3+ years of GM experience, ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain), flexibility for nights/weekends, and strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and coach a fast-paced team.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred
- ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve)
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 25 pounds
- Flexibile hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
- Strong business acumen
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
