Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of dispensary operations, providing strategic direction to the team and ensuring daily performance exceeds metrics. Manage product merchandising, staff scheduling, and supply chain logistics to optimize availability and reduce stockouts. Enforce strict adherence to state and local cannabis regulations by developing compliance protocols, overseeing audits, and updating staff on evolving laws. Train and mentor retail associates, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction. Develop and manage the dispensary budget by analyzing revenue and expenses while reporting on key financial indicators.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail management position
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the cannabis industry
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Demonstrated skills in people management and development
- Strong customer service expertise, including supervising retail associates and experience in handling invoices and cash
- Proficiency with various business technologies, hardware, and software, including HR systems for timesheet management, time clocks, POS systems, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day
- Stores are open 7 days a week from 8:00 am – 11:45 pm (varying by location), nights, weekends & holidays
- The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in the state of Colorado
