Job Summary
Manage all membership, fitness, and operational functions to achieve financial success and deliver the best member experience. Recruit, interview, and hire department managers, supervisors, and front-line team members while providing accountability through training, coaching, and performance reviews. Execute sales metrics by ensuring 50% guest conversion and 40% ultimate mix, and document all hiring, dismissal, and discipline actions with Vice President support. Develop monthly operational plans, review financial results, and resolve elevated member concerns on the spot. Walk the gym to collect feedback, monitor appearance, and ensure safety of employees, members, and property. Reports to the Vice President of Sales with direct reports including Assistant Manager and Membership Specialists.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10 employees
- 3-5 years of sales or related experience
- Must be able to lift 50-120 lbs
- Must be able to stand for up to 8-12 hours
- Must have adequate transportation to and from work, to scheduled meetings, and/or to networking events
