Job Summary
Execute a strategic plan supporting Marin's long-term vision while leading day-to-day operations across golf, F&B, tennis, aquatics, and events. Build strong member relationships through visibility and hospitality leadership, and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to ensure sound decision-making. Develop a high-performing leadership team and culture of accountability, serving as the key liaison to the Board of Directors with transparent performance updates. Lead capital projects from evaluation through execution and post-project review, ensuring disciplined stewardship of resources. Partner with department leaders to integrate operating plans, reserve requirements, and dues strategy into an integrated multi-year financial roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years in a senior leadership role within a private club, hospitality, or luxury service environment
- Strong background in club operations, including food & beverage, golf, and event management
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, driving profitability, and achieving financial sustainability
- A deep commitment to understanding and exceeding member needs, with a track record of building strong member relationships
- Ability to align operations with long-term strategic goals, ensuring the club continues to evolve and grow in a competitive market
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with a focus on professional development, collaboration, and accountability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members, staff, and the Board of Directors
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field
- Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation or equivalent
- Experience working closely with a Board of Directors in a private club or luxury service environment
