Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day store and financial operations of a multi-million dollar business by developing marketing strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and Tri Star standards. Provide daily coaching to staff, recruit and train a capable team, and reconcile daily financials while maintaining adequate staffing levels. Act as a role model for the Tri Star Mission, Vision, and Core Values, delivering programs to maximize the guest experience and executing the store's marketing plan. Work opposite hours as the Assistant Manager, with availability for shifts from 6 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday, plus weekend coverage. Shadow experienced managers during initial training to gain in-depth business knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of retail or hospitality industry experience
- 3+ years management experience directly supervising staff
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Passion for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills
- Passion for career development in self and others
- 18+ years of age
- Sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (carrying cases of milk, etc.)
- Ability to work at any location within a 30-mile radius of your home
- Monday through Friday, with Weekend Availability Expected
- Expected 50 Hour Workweek
- Overtime Exempt Status
- Must be adaptable, accepting, and accountable
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
- Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environments
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite of products
