Job Summary
Lead the overall management and operation of the hotel, ensuring high guest satisfaction, financial success, and adherence to brand standards. Provide strong leadership to staff, recruit and manage department heads, and develop strategies to enhance employee engagement. Oversee financial performance by managing the annual budget, reviewing P&L reports, and implementing cost-saving measures to drive GOP, Flow thru, and NOI. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to increase occupancy, identify new business opportunities, and respond promptly to guest feedback. Partner with Engineering to maintain facility conditions and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Prepare regular reports for owners and corporate management detailing financial performance and operational updates. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration required with several years of experience leading hotels to success in financial and revenue performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of experience in hotel management or related roles, with progressively increasing responsibilities
- Verifiable history of leading a hotel to success in terms of financial performance (P&L), guest satisfaction (branded hotel GSS or similar scores), and revenue performance (STAR)
- Track record of employment stability
- Thorough understanding of budget creation and implementation
- Professional references from within the hospitality industry
- Organized, goal oriented, self-motivated, and energetic with a strong desire to achieve success
- Ability to drive GOP, Flow thru and NOI per key
- Extended standing and walking
- Climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs
