Job Summary
General Manager responsible for the complete store/operation management including store sales, volume, quality of service, customer satisfaction, profit margin, scheduling, inventory orders, lead employee training, lead by example, and participation in management team meetings and strategy sessions. Specific tasks may be delegated but ultimate responsibility rests with the General Manager. Must ensure adherence to food-safety standards and regulatory requirements, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have Serve Safe/food protection certification; 18+ to operate slicer; reliable transportation. Training and development, vendor relationships, and franchisee coordination are implied as part of leadership in a Jersey Mike's store.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school degree or equivalent
- 2 Year QSR experience preferred
- Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
- Certificate in Food Protection - New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
