Job Summary

General Manager responsible for partnering with the HOA Board and The Management Trust to oversee daily operations, budget preparation, vendor and staff management, and overall community business management. Leads onsite housing communities (homes, townhomes, condos) with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experience, compliance with governing documents and state statutes, and maintaining strong Board/Homeowner/vendor relationships. Duties include budget estimates, problem resolution, financial oversight (invoices, tax preparation, reserve study updates), site reviews, vendor bids, Board meeting support, communications with stakeholders, and staff supervision. Requires leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration (or related) plus 5 years of progressive experience in community association management
  • Professional designations are a plus
  • Knowledge of management practices, building and grounds maintenance, personnel development, and budget/finance
  • Ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of management contracts, CC&Rs and governing documents
  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and communication abilities
  • Willingness to learn company processes and proprietary software
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record as per policy
