Job Summary
General Manager responsible for site-level performance including safety, service, productivity, and cost control across warehouse operations, fleet management, and food safety; leads frontline supervisors and hourly staff, ensures SQF/HACCP/FSMA compliance, and drives continuous improvement. Oversees routing, delivery performance, maintenance, and fleet coordination; partners with Sales, Customer Support, and National Operations to align operational goals with organizational strategy; builds staffing plans, manages budgets and KPIs, and makes data-driven decisions in a fast-paced distribution environment. Requires 7–12+ years of operations experience with 3–5+ years of team leadership and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7–12+ years in operations/logistics/distribution
- 3–5+ years managing frontline or supervisory teams
- Experience in food handling environments
- Experience managing trucking fleet and drivers
- SQF, HACCP, FSMA or equivalent experience
