Job Summary
Lead all aspects of operations for the assigned property, optimizing financial performance while maintaining high-quality service levels and brand compliance. Conduct daily ABR meetings, tour operating departments, and inspect rooms weekly with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure preventive maintenance. Drive sales efforts by calling top accounts, hosting client luncheons, and meeting on-site contacts daily. Manage the management team through weekly staff meetings, competency training, performance appraisals, and coaching, while forecasting monthly financial positions and reviewing budgets with department heads. Maintain direct communication with guests, clients, corporate representatives, and vendors, ensuring all employees adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Travel extensively to hotels within the region as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience
- 2-year college degree and at least 5 to 6 years of related experience
- Comfortable with extensive and extended travel depending on business operational needs
- Proficient in Windows operating systems Company approved spreadsheets and word processing
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to assimilate complex information data etc from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Ability to be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Ability to show flexibility in response to change and adapt to and accommodate new methods and procedures
