Job Summary
Lead the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Outlet Store as General Manager, driving store sales and overseeing daily operations, staff scheduling, inventory control, and visual merchandising to deliver world-class customer service. Build and mentor a high-performing team, set and monitor sales and expense goals, perform performance appraisals, and implement development plans while maintaining People First standards. Represent the brand with polished communication and professionalism, ensure fair treatment of staff, and align store practices with leadership best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years management experience in furniture, retail, and/or multi-unit retail business environment
- Proven ability to manage staff to exceed sales goals, while maintaining operational excellence
- Proven to identify top talent, create teams, and train/develop/retain great people
- Proven ability to think through complex issues, and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples
- Effective communication, organization and leadership skills
