Job Summary
Lead a team to create and maintain the Sun Tan City Experience by supervising daily operations, managing staffing decisions, and ensuring client satisfaction. Develop and coach employees to deliver amazing service, drive company metrics through action plans, and implement company programs. Directly motivate the team to achieve performance goals while handling minor maintenance issues, monitoring cleanliness, and managing safety and security. Plan and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth flow of operations, utilizing financial reports to identify trends and address performance issues. Regularly conduct assessments to improve sales performance and manage ongoing sales efforts. Work a 5-day week of 40 hours, including varying mid and closing shifts based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- The Salon Director is required to work a 5-day workweek of 40 hours per week
- The Salon Director is required to work a varying number of mid and/or closing shifts each week
