Job Summary
Lead a team to create and maintain the Sun Tan City Experience by supervising daily operations, managing staffing decisions, and ensuring client satisfaction. Develop employees through coaching and performance assessments, while driving company metrics via action plans and financial reporting. Directly oversee salon cleanliness, sanitation, and safety, utilizing operational tools to achieve excellence in labor, cash, and inventory management. Work a 5-day week of 40 hours including varying mid and closing shifts to support business trends. This role contributes to Sun Tan City's success as a cornerstone of the Glow Brands family, fostering a positive culture where coworkers become friends.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc
- 5-day workweek of 40 hours per week
- Varying number of mid and/or closing shifts each week
