Job Summary
General Manager for STIR/State of Confusion at a growing independent restaurant group. Lead daily operations across multiple locations, oversee programs and systems (MIT, Certified Trainers, hiring/training, injury reporting), ensure food safety, sanitation, and adherence to budgets, and maintain financials and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include supervising FOH operations, quality control, managing guest and employee concerns, implementing ongoing professional development, and driving performance and growth with a strong emphasis on teamwork and hospitality. Requires 3+ years of management experience in upscale casual dining (5+ years in some roles), hospitality-focused education preferred, and proficiency with restaurant management software (Restaurant 365, Paycom, TOAST). Candidates should be able to coach and develop team members, communicate effectively, and maintain compliance with health codes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years management experience in upscale casual dining
- Minimum of 5+ years management experience for higher level?
- Degree in Hospitality Management or similar is preferred
- Strong numerical skills and ability to manage budgets/P&L
- Coaching and developing team members
- Knowledge of local and national health codes
- Excellent communication and guest service focus
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficient with Restaurant 365, Paycom, and TOAST
