Job Summary
General Manager responsible for leading a single Steak ‘n Shake restaurant, ensuring operational and financial standards are met, coaching the management team, and delivering exceptional guest service.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent education preferred
- Understand Steak ‘n Shake policies, procedures, state laws, Health codes, Safe food handling and Sanitation procedures
- Able to work in excess of 50 hours per week while standing, walking and stretching
- Able to lift, carry, push and pull 30 lbs
- Able to legally operate a motor vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Certified in all Service and Production Stations at Steak ‘n Shake or equivalent experience
- ServSafe certified
- Positive, motivating communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand and work for extended hours
- Must be able to lift and carry moderate weights
