Job Summary
Develop the team of authentic and motivated Chuzers while ensuring top-tier customer service, cleanliness, and an unbeatable culture. Provide a welcoming experience for every member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and engaging club tours. Support daily operations including cleaning tasks, membership sign-ups, retail displays, transactions, and serving smoothies. Develop Operations and Kids Club staff through recruiting, coaching, and performance reviews. Guide the team through member concerns and emergent facilities issues, collaborating with the District Team on labor management, turnover, and quality assurance. Own administrative processes such as reporting, email communications, club scheduling, and inventory maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3-5 years of management experience or equivalent industry work
- 3 years of previous customer service experience
- Ability to leverage strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate a positive environment and develop a strong team
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Organized and accountable, able to set, reach, and prioritize goals
- Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check
- Must be able to support weekend shifts, when required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or currently continuing education
- Previous experience in the fitness industry
- Bilingual
