Job Summary
As the SONIC Drive-In General Manager, oversee daily operations to deliver quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment and provide a SuperSONIC experience. Responsibilities include hiring, training, supervising, and developing great people; applying fair, firm, and fun leadership; managing a profit and loss statement to exceed expectations; resolving employee concerns; coaching for performance; setting expectations with ongoing feedback; creating an upbeat atmosphere during shifts; communicating the big picture and the why behind tasks; using metrics to drive performance improvements; engaging with the community to grow sales and uphold SONIC safety and sanitation standards; complying with federal, state, and local laws. Requirements include prior management experience, high standards, positive attitude under rushes, resiliency, eagerness to grow, prioritization, and strong leadership/communication skills; associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred. The role requires willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
