Job Summary
General Manager at SONIC Drive-In leads drive-in restaurant operations, trains and coaches crew and management, monitors inventories and schedules, ensures compliance with policies and health standards, resolves guest issues, interviews and hires staff, prepares operational and financial reports, and develops/implements marketing plans. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of restaurant management experience; expects ability to supervise across opening/closing duties, staffing, payroll records, and adherence to labor laws with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
- Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic accounting and computer skills
- Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problems
- Problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
- Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
