Job Summary
General Manager at SONIC Drive-In leads drive-in restaurant operations, trains and coaches Crew/Team members and Carhops, directs staffing and scheduling, monitors inventory, maintains records and payroll, ensures compliance with policies, resolves guest issues, interviews and hires staff, develops action plans to address financial/sales trends, and implements a marketing plan while maintaining a customer-service focus and adherence to food-safety and health regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
- Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic accounting and computer skills
- Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problems
- Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
