Job Summary
Oversee daily restaurant/bar operations, manage staff recruitment/training, and ensure inventory control, scheduling, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Drive financial planning and budgeting, develop promotions to boost visibility and patronage, coach a diverse team, and maintain a fun, secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage regulatory documentation (TABC) and peak-hour staffing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- 3+ years of management experience in restaurant/bar industry
- Current certification from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) or equivalent as applicable
- Proficient understanding of business and financial principles
- Strong computer literacy and customer service orientation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage diverse personalities and handle tense situations
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and utilize resources efficiently
- Physical ability to move, stand, and occasionally lift heavy objects
