Job Summary
Lead all aspects of business operations at the Soho Beach House Canouan, ensuring operational efficiency, staff retention, and optimal profit while serving as an ambassador for the brand. Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Head of Operations, and COO to develop strategic objectives that optimize performance and profitability. Assess the business daily to provide reports on economic and operational states, triggering action plans for improvement and innovation. Partner with Health & Safety leaders to enforce food safety, allergy procedures, and local compliance standards. Guide policy development and implement decisions that improve business operations, service, and retention across HR, F&B, Marketing, and Facilities. Oversee regional property collaborations and execute major events such as winter roof conversions and off-site festivals. Monitor service trends through guest and staff surveys to drive continuous enhancement of the member experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10+ years managing high-volume Food and Beverage (F&B) or multi-unit operations
- Understand, maintain, and enforce local and government regulated food safety, risk prevention, fire prevention and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of all staff and guests
- Interview all new and prospective hires (internal/external) and adhere to P&D policies while positively providing support to the team in terms of growth, development and success planning
- Monitor, assess, report and develop action items to support service trends, guest/member/staff surveys
- Innovator and influencer with previous experience managing F&B operations that focus on service and providing top quality experiences through food and drink
- A creative and analytical thinker who encompasses strong business aptitude is driven by results and guest satisfaction
- Naturally hospitable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal/external) as well as highly organized, efficient and detail oriented
