Job Summary
General Manager, SMB MSP Solutions to own P&L, define and execute a go-to-market strategy, and build and scale a new SMB MSP services line from zero. Lead an end-to-end commercial team focused on acquiring, onboarding, and growing SMB customers in Rightworks’ hosted QuickBooks ecosystem, with autonomy to drive revenue, pricing, packaging, and market entry. Influence product positioning, partnerships, and cross-functional alignment while delivering structured insights on competitive win/loss, vertical market validation, and service gaps. Require a Bachelor's degree and 10-12 years of proven MSP GTM leadership, with a track record of building and scaling new businesses and a strong executive presence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or other related field
- 10-12 years of proven sales or GTM leadership experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Background at a recognized MSP such as Thrive, Ntiva, Dataprise, CMIT Solutions (corporate), NexusTek, or smaller organizations
- Experience owning revenue and go-to-market decisions for a business line or division
- Deep understanding of IT buyer sales motions and managed services selling outside of the accounting vertical
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale a business from the ground up (not just operate an existing one)
- Strong executive presence with the ability to push back, influence, and drive alignment across functions
- Comfortable operating in lean, ambiguous environments without large support infrastructure
- Make decisions quickly; drive outcomes without dependency
