Job Summary
Lead a high-performing retail team to deliver sales and profit goals while modeling operational and visual excellence. Empower staff to make decisions, develop internal talent, and build a bench for future store needs. Act as a cultural ambassador by role-modeling Indigo's high-performance characteristics and fostering an environment of trust where employee well-being is a priority. Ensure leadership and staff schedules are optimized, manage budgets and cost centers, and respond to customer feedback to maintain a customer-centric culture. Drive best-in-class employee engagement and net promoter scores while actively engaging in community-based marketing to strengthen ties.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred or equivalent job experience
- 3+ years of management experience in a retail environment
- experience leading leaders
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Bilingualism (French/English)
- College degree
