General Manager

General Manager oversees hotel operations across sales, marketing, and financial performance, ensuring all departments meet company standards. Responsible for managing physical assets, budgeting, guest satisfaction, and staff development while driving revenue and profitability. Lead revenue management efforts using systems such as MARSHA, OnQ, Opera, and IHOTELIER to optimize occupancy and rates. Prepare and adjust annual budgets, forecast operating expenses and labor costs, and manage controllable expenses to maintain margin. Oversee cash handling, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions. Train staff on guest service procedures, handle complex guest issues, manage guest satisfaction programs, recruit and develop talent, and collaborate with ownership and corporate teams to ensure policy compliance. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years GM or 5 years AGM in a first-class hotel operation, with strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The role is primarily in-person at the property with flexible scheduling and occasional travel, located in Seattle, WA (Hilton Motif Seattle).
