Job Summary
General Manager responsible for leading store teams to deliver a profitable store business plan and achieve key metrics. Drives profitable sales through forecasting, scheduling, and budgeting; builds highly productive teams through sourcing, selecting, and developing people; coaches performance and delivers training to build capabilities. Leads the implementation of standard operating procedures and initiatives, creates an inclusive environment, and promotes community involvement. Interprets brand vision and ensures omni-channel, frictionless customer experiences while maintaining brand standards and compliance. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed, with the ability to navigate a retail floor, stock room, and office, including handling chemicals and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of retail experience leading others
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and office; lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including travel, to meet the needs of the business including nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to travel as required
- Strong planning and prioritization skills
- Business Acumen skills
- Established time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results
- Excellent communication with customers and employees
