Job Summary
Coordinate construction and layout of the operation while managing the P&L statement to ensure profitability. Provide customer service to suppliers, visit their sites to view scrap, and determine inventory levels. Lead daily meetings including tailgates, safety, and Management Commitment sessions, and perform monthly safety inspections. Supervise staff to ensure compliance with labor codes, manage work-related injuries, and conduct incident investigations. Maintain facility cleanliness, organize materials for efficient space use, and dispose of waste appropriately. Manage a unionized workforce with strong financial and organizational skills in ferrous and nonferrous processing. Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) ability is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- NF processing and production experience
- 5 years of progressively responsible management experience in leading fast paced and diverse operations
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
