Job Summary
General Manager at RWB Thrift responsible for driving store profitability and operational excellence. Owns the store's P&L, drives top-line sales, and ensures production quotas are met while delivering strong customer service and merchandise productivity. Leads and trains the Production Manager and Retail Manager, develops a high-performance management team, and optimizes backroom operations and scheduling to balance peak demand with cost containment. Oversees compliance with wage-hour laws and equal employment opportunities, maintains a safe and organized store environment, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and talent development. Manages applicant reviews, onboarding, and recruitment strategy to build bench strength for future openings, and collaborates with leadership on process improvements, loss prevention, and store-wide initiatives. Requires effective communication in English (with preferred Spanish proficiency) and strong computer skills (MS Office, Teams, Outlook, HRIS). This salary-based role reports to executive leadership and focuses on finance, operations, and people development within a thrift retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience in thrift/retail/warehouse/customer-facing is preferred but not required
