Job Summary
Oversee all taproom operations, manage staff, coordinate schedules, and maintain quality standards while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and execute business strategies, manage budgets, and foster a positive work culture that reflects brand values. Drive profitability and meaningful growth through strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for craft beer and hospitality. This full-time position requires weekend and evening availability and reports to the Director of Taproom Operations. Located in Buffalo, NY, Resurgence Brewing Co. is a young brewery established in 2013, celebrating the city's resurgence with award-winning beer, cider, and a friendly atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of full service restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office computer applications
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for craft beverages, hospitality, and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
