Job Summary
Manage all restaurant activities by ensuring employees meet expectations, modeling a guest-first environment, and responding quickly to guest concerns. Hire high-quality staff, train and coach them on delivering total satisfaction, and evaluate their performance while continuously improving skills and morale. Develop and execute the business plan covering fiscal responsibilities, manpower planning, and local marketing, utilizing labor effectively to meet budget and drive financial results. Enforce labor laws, uphold food safety and sanitation standards, and model shared values with high personal integrity. Work flexible hours to operate the restaurant effectively, requiring long periods of standing, heat tolerance, and the ability to lift 50-75 pounds while observing operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 5 years in management position
- preferably restaurant experience
- Able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively
- Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and P & L management
- Organizational, planning and time management
- Team building skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work around heat
- Work around others in close quarters
- Move throughout the restaurant and observe restaurant operations and employee work performance
- Able to lift 50 75 pounds comfortably
- Work with various cleaning products
