Job Summary
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and coach all hourly employees and managers while leading daily pre-shift and weekly management meetings. Oversee the complete beverage program, including premium spirits, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service, while monitoring pour costs, conducting inventories, and ensuring recipe adherence. Manage labor schedules, forecast staffing based on sales, and control labor, food, and liquor costs to meet monthly financial targets. Coordinate the weekly music schedule, manage entertainment vendors, and maintain the restaurant's brand identity through programming and special events. Ensure full compliance with California regulations, health standards, and security procedures while driving sales growth and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience
- At least 2 years as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or hospitality venue
- Strong knowledge of tequila, mezcal, premium spirits, and cocktail operations
- Proven experience managing labor, food cost, liquor cost, and P&L performance
- Experience leading entertainment and music programs, including DJs and live events
- Proficiency with restaurant technology such as Toast POS, scheduling platforms (e.g., Harri), reservation systems, and Microsoft Office
- Current California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
- Food Manager Certification
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and guest-service skills
