Job Summary
Manage the store's Profit and Loss statement to ensure financial results meet budget targets, driving top-line sales and profitability through strategic initiatives. Oversee production quotas, backroom efficiency, and merchandise productivity while maintaining high standards of customer service and a clean, organized sales floor. Develop and train the Production Manager and Retail Manager, ensuring they have the skills to manage their respective areas and contribute to overall store success. Create dynamic scheduling that aligns with business needs, reduce labor costs during slower periods, and maintain fair performance processes to build a talent pipeline. Ensure adherence to company policies, state and federal laws, and wage and hour compliance. Support store operations with supply ordering, bill submissions, and ad-hoc data entry as time allows.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs. of force
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficient in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Possesses clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Ability to wear closed-toe shoes for safety purposes
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
