Job Summary
Develop and execute comprehensive business and financial strategy plans for the club, regularly monitoring performance metrics to ensure revenue targets are achieved across all operational areas. Offer strategic leadership to department heads in Agronomy, Facilities, Fitness & Wellness, Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, Member Experience, and Sales while recruiting, selecting, and developing a qualified team of department heads. Implement sales, marketing, and net revenue strategies aligned with financial plans, maintain effective expense control systems, and ensure the club meets financial obligations including debt and lease agreements. Analyze member retention metrics, engage directly with resigning members to document feedback, and foster a motivating work environment centered on teamwork and member satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in club management, hospitality, or related field
- A minimum of 1 year of experience managing budgets and the ability to make sound judgments in expense allocation to impact profitability
- Experience leading public, semi-private, or resort golf facilities
- A strong golf operations background and a demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through rounds, tournaments, outings, instructional programs, membership sales, and other golf-related revenue streams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Skilled in handling highly confidential material, including member and employee data, with discretion and integrity
- Proficiency in computer literacy and spreadsheet software
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and effective team management
