Job Summary
General Manager responsible for overall results of an auto body collision repair facility, including shop organization, workflow optimization, profitability, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Oversees insurance DRP program management, relationships with insurance adjusters and dealerships, estimating, shop payroll, budgeting, and adherence to safety/environmental regulations. Must drive KPIs such as customer satisfaction, cycle time, EBITDA, gross profit, carrier performance, and accounts receivable. Requires 10-15 years of auto body shop experience and CCC One estimating system proficiency, with strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills to guide staff and achieve monthly sales and profitability goals. Proactive in training, policy enforcement, and maintaining professional standards across the operation.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years auto body shop experience
- CCC One Collision Estimating System experience
- Ability to manage business plans and adjust strategies based on reporting metrics
- Understanding and experience with major insurance DRP programs
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
- Initiative-taker with demonstrated professionalism and ability to build a team
- Experience in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel preferred
