Job Summary
Operate the assigned business area, ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing of quality products consistent with company policies. Supervise personnel, monitor records for attendance, payroll, production, safety, ergonomics, and TQM, while providing training to enable high-quality output. Analyze non-routine problems and offer recommendations to the Plant Manager. Ensure compliance with USDA, Federal, and State regulations. Maintain operations including safety, production yields, quality, team relations, turnover, absenteeism, discipline, payroll, staffing, and line speeds.
Required Qualifications
- Education beyond high school including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses, or equivalent experience
- 3 plus years general knowledge of production techniques, procedures, product yields and quality, and USDA and OSHA regulations
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- As required (Travel)
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
