Job Summary
General Manager to lead a premium Gardeners Arms pub within Hall & Woodhouse, overseeing day-to-day operations, kitchen oversight, and high standards of food and drink. The role requires strong leadership of branded hospitality teams, attention to quality, and commercially-minded operational growth. Based in the Ardingly area (West Sussex) with possible relocation, the GM will drive guest experiences, maintain brand standards, and contribute to the pub’s ongoing success and development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as General Manager or senior operations leader in branded hospitality
- Leadership of kitchen operations and food production
- Ability to manage and develop a hospitality business with attention to brand standards and guest experience
- Based in or willing to relocate to local area (Ardingly / West Sussex)
- Proven track record of strategic, commercial operation and people management
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and proactive mindset
- Commitment for long-term tenure
