Job Summary
General Manager responsible for overseeing club operations to deliver a high-quality, welcoming member experience while ensuring financial performance. Leads and develops a team including Assistant General Managers, Front Desk staff, and Fitness Trainers; manages scheduling, timesheets, staff development, and accountability. Oversees front desk activities, member sign-ups and tours, cashiering and deposits, cleanliness and maintenance, CMMS usage, safety, and equipment repairs. Requires flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail/fitness environment, strong customer service, and leadership to drive adherence to Planet Fitness values. Required Qualifications
- 2 years Supervisor or Manager experience in a restaurant or retail environment in a high-volume atmosphere or two years Planet Fitness experience preferred
- A High School Diploma Or Equivalent required
- A Bachelor's Degree or four years supervisor or manager experience preferred
- Current CPR Certification required or willingness to get certified upon hire
