Job Summary
Direct P&L responsibility and leadership for a $250M business, driving regional strategies and continuous improvements in productivity and profitability. Gather actionable market insights to align organizational capabilities with customer expectations, delivering application-based solutions that build long-term partnerships. Monitor performance against annual operating plans, establish challenging goals and budgets with finance, and expand into new markets while ensuring the highest return on total capital. Build and empower a high-performing team, mentor regional leadership, and champion a culture of integrity and uncompromising ethics. Lead by example as a proactive change agent, cultivating collaboration to exceed shared business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent
- 12+ years of business experience within the tapes, adhesives, or other application based material science businesses/ industries
- Sales-oriented, Marketing-oriented, and Operations-oriented
- Strong analytical and financial management skills with a strong business acumen
- Demonstrated record of accomplishments in business development and growth market creation
- Detailed appreciation for technical sales needs into custom applications
- Demonstrated success in cross-regional or cross BU projects or initiatives
- Innovative problem-solving character with the ability to make, implement, and manage difficult decisions that may create internal and external conflicts
- High level of curiosity to learn
- Effective organizational and executive presence with the confidence to act independently
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and function-specific software (e.g., Salesforce.com)
