Job Summary
Lead hotel operations as General Manager, driving strategy, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. Oversee all departments, champion brand and reputation, contribute to monthly and annual forecasts, optimize revenues across rooms and F&B, and manage hotel-level P&L. Build and mentor a high-performing team through training, coaching, and retention initiatives; recruit top talent; participate in weekly revenue meetings with regional teams; ensure timely and accurate payroll and accounting duties. Stay engaged with the local community and uphold standards across operations while leveraging systems (Profit Sword, Hotel Effectiveness, M3, Hospitality PMS). Requirements include prior GM/leadership experience within major brands, strong communication and presentation skills, and hospitality certifications (CHA/CHRM/CHSP a plus). Required Qualifications
- Current/prior hotel general manager experience and/or 3+ years hotel rooms/operations and/or sales leadership experience within major brands (Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, etc.)
- Ability to defuse distressed associates and guests while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to learn systems technology and operate hospitality software
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Hospitality certifications; CHA, CHRM, CHSP, a plus
