Job Summary
General Manager responsible for controlling day-to-day operations of the venue within company policy, maintaining professional image and cleanliness, managing vendor relationships, preparing financial disclosures, controlling profit & loss, cash handling and inventory, supervising staff from recruitment to termination, ensuring guest experience and safety, and representing the venue in the community; requires leadership, financial literacy, staff development, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and move around the venue.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 year college degree or equivalent (preferred)
- At least 5 years' experience in restaurant/nightclub management
- Must speak fluent English
- Good people management skills
- Communication and listening skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
