Job Summary
Manage all functions of a Papa John's restaurant to ensure high quality products, customer service, and profitability. Build a system of quality with team members, respond promptly to customer concerns, and solicit feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty. Recruit and train customer-focused staff, maintain adequate staffing levels, and conduct performance reviews with disciplinary action as needed. Manage sales and profit goals against budget, control food and labor costs using the FOCUS System, and execute creative local marketing. Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, safety standards, and cash management while ensuring compliance with all laws and ethical practices. Requires two years of restaurant management experience, ability to work long hours including nights and weekends, and manage with no supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Stable employment history
- Two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience with salary progression
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully perform the job duties of ALL positions in the restaurant, including pizza delivery
- Ability to manage with no supervision
- Ability to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move over 51 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work with dangerous equipment or sharp tools
- Ability to work around fumes, odors, dust, or toxic chemicals
