As General Manager, lead a high-performing bakery-cafe team and own operations from staffing and scheduling to performance management and training. Hire, onboard, and develop team members and managers, coach staff, and ensure guest satisfaction by upholding Panera’s standards, policies, and health/safety requirements. Drive results through business acumen, cost control, inventory management, and culture-building that fosters warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. Responsibilities include planning and managing staffing needs, performance management, training, succession planning, ensuring quality standards and extraordinary guest service, developing managers on people processes, and executing company strategies and initiatives while maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming workplace.
