Job Summary
General Manager/Operating Partner leads the drive-in's operations and employees as the highest management position. Essential duties include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, supervising, and disciplining staff; managing compensation per guidelines; overseeing all aspects of drive-in operations to optimize guest experience; handling opening/closing duties; escalating guest and employee issues; planning and adjusting food, labor, paper, and inventory to maximize cost-control and operational efficiency; leading regular team meetings; maintaining records and operational reports; developing and managing local marketing and business performance action plans; ensuring maintenance of equipment and vendor performance; enforcing company policies and complying with laws; maintaining sanitation and cleanliness; attending to a minimum 50 hours per week with irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays; and performing additional station duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- Experience: Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- Experience: Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees
- Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws, etc.)
- Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Skills: Basic computer, math, accounting, and reading skills
- Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Skills: Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution
